Relative centrifugal force
Relative centrifugal force (RCF) refers to the centrifugal force of a particle corresponding to the earth's gravity under the action of the centrifugal force field. The unit is the gravity acceleration (9.8m/s2).
Due to the different radius of the centrifuge rotor or the distance from the centrifuge tube to the center of the rotating shaft, the centrifugal force is also different. Therefore, the "relative centrifugal force" or the numerical "number *g" is commonly used in the literature to indicate the centrifugal force. Relative centrifugal force (RCF) refers to the centrifugal force of a particle corresponding to the earth's gravity under the action of the centrifugal force field. The unit is the gravity acceleration (9.8m/s2).
The particles are usually precipitated by relative centrifugal force (RCF). The relative centrifugal force depends on the horizontal distance from the position of the sample to the axis, ie the radius of rotation R and the speed n, which is calculated as:
n,(r/min) R,(cm)
The calculation formula for the time() required for particle separation and precipitation in the mixed solution is:
,The horizontal distance from the bottom of the test solution to the axis(cm)
,The horizontal distance from the face of the test solution to the axis(cm)
r,(cm)
R,(g/cm3)
Q,(g/cm3)
L,(po)
The above two formulas can determine the centrifugal force and centrifugation time of various differential centrifugations.
